Curacao Ocean Resort Dushi

This property is in a great spot. Secluded yet close to everything. Cold A/C in the bedroom. If returning to Curacao we would definitely book again!

The apartment is quite spacious for two people. The bedroom has plenty of storage space for clothes and a comfy king bed. The kitchen is modern, attractive and fully equipped. The living room furniture is somewhat spartan but the TV is good with lots of channels in english. The outdoor facilities are amazing including a nice patio to eat on, a large upper deck, and an even better lower deck that has a ladder for direct entry and exit to lagoon swimming and snorkeling and a freshwater shower. The views from the outdoor spaces are great and we even saw jumping dolphins in the adjacent aquarium. The apartment is part of the very secure gated Curacao Ocean Resort which has pretty gardens, a good pool, a nice private beach, and a house coral reef with very good snorkeling especially on the open water side. The apartment is a very short walk to the Aquarium and loads of restaurants, bars and shops on Mambo blvd. It is also a short drive to the beautiful Punda section of town. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Curacao and a real value in the off season.

Das Ocean Resort ist eine gepflegte ruhige Anlage, der Resort-eigene Strand ist nur zu empfehlen: hier kann man toll schnorcheln, wenn man etwas weiter rausschwimmt; erwartet einen eine tolle Unterwasserwelt. Der Mambo-Beach ist fußläufig erreichbar. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Terrasse und der dazugehörige Ausblick waren einfach großartig. Die Wohnung ist mit den wichtigsten Dingen ausgestattet, die Klimaanlagen (Schlafzimmer + Wohnzimmer) sind super. Direkt gegenüber findet man das Sea-Aquarium. Von der Terrasse sieht man des Öfteren die Delfine. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

L’appartement fait partie d’un complexe tranquille et très bien entretenu, la cuisine est très bien équipée, s’il manque quoique ce soit, la responsable réagit rapidement. Une situation géographique enviable, à deux pas du centre de plongée et de nombreux restaurants. Le bout de l’ile, à l’ouest, est accessible en 1h de voiture de même que le centre-ville historique en 15 minutes. Le balcon face à une petite baie où la baignade y est fort agréable c’est le point fort de cet appartement. Nous pouvions y voir les dauphins de l’aquarium juste en face pratiquer leurs sauts pendant qu’on lunchait sur la terasse. Jo est d’une efficacité incroyable, elle répondait à tous mes courriels à la vitesse de l’éclair. Nous retournerons assurément loger dans cet appartement lors d’un prochain voyage de plongée à Curaçao!

This was our first visit to Curacao having toured most of the other Islands over 30years or more.Each Island is very different and has it`s own unique character,Curacao has the familiar beautiful white sand/coral beaches flanked by turquoise blue sea. However it seems to have escaped over commercialism and offers a safe and lovely environment worth exploring. The apartment itself was very clean well equipped and in a gated complex very close to the Sea Aquarium and Mambo Beach. The Dolphins were amazing and I completed a level 1 Dolphins in depth training course ......never dreamed I could do such a thing! Would recommend the apartment and "Taxi Mike" for a really comfortable ride to and from the Airport!

We had a great stay at this apartment right on the water! It was clean, well appointed, comfortable, convenient and has a direct view of the dolphins at the seaquarium.

with the lagoon but realized when we arrived how close it was to the resorts on mambo beach. This gave us peace and quiet with a lovely view but easy accessibility to several restaurants and activities when we wanted it. The room itself was updated tastefully and was comfortable. We went to a nearby grocery store to stock the fridge. We kept the doors open to keep the airflow through the apartment as it can be quite warm if you're not used to the warmer temperatures. The resort was very safe, very clean and quiet. We would absolutely recommend staying here if you like the quiet but want to be close by the action. The property manager Josie is a gem and was very helpful and the free wifi was appreciated. We do recommend having a car on the island to see all of Curacao's beautiful sights but it's not necessary. If you want to stay near the resorts you can easily walk there (100 yards away) and they have a shuttle that will bring you downtown. Recommended for: People with Disabilities, Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.
