Curacao is an island that you need to explore and see all the good stuff. Our guest are very comfortable driving around on the island since getting lost is very difficult and there is always someone friendly to give you direction.
We offer our guest the FREE service of car rental reservation.
We strongly recommend having the car delivered at your property or at the airport for your convienice to just step in and drive off.
We offer new cars from good rental companies, all air conditioned, that can be delivered at the airport waiting for you to simply step in, or at your property. In case you let the car drop of at your property we can arrange a taxi service for you.
Convertibles
Think twice about renting a convertible; it looks like part of the Caribbean dream, but it is hot! The sun is bright and you will not be comfortable driving during the day.

Driving Tips
- Speed limit in built-up area is 40 km/h (= 25 Mph). Outside of town 60 km/h (= 37 Mph), except where otherwise posted.
- On T-junctions traffic on the dead-end road must give right of way to all traffic from left and right.
- Reduce your speed in rainy weather. Wet roads can be extremely slippery.
- In case you are involved in an accident, don't move your car and notify Curacao Road Service at tel. 199 or you can call Roadside assistance. tel: 9-24-7
- Here in Curacao the cars have automatic transmission as well as manual transmission. If you have a preference for one of them please let us know in advance!
- Keep in mind that you are traveling with your luggage/kids/family to and from the airport so rent a car that is just big enough to fit everything and everyone. We can arrange a taxi transfer from the airport to the accommodation and have the car wait for you at the property. This allows you to rent a smaller car.
